FP moving away from writing; will post work in progress

Posted On: Tuesday 27th October 2009 11:26am by Mike [FP]
My recurring health problems seem to take up more and more time as the years go by.  At this point, I'm focused on staying as healthy as I can, spending time with my family, and maintaining a professional life.  Continued writing really doesn't fit into that.
I want to thank everyone who has taken the time to read my writing over the last five years, particularly those who have commented.  More significantly, I want to thank Uibristol, Kokopelli, Tony, and others who have beta-read for me; and Uberwald, Toto, Iceman Legend, Dragon Voldemort, Meg and others who have hung out at the FP Chat Room to provide feedback, both literary and personal encouragement, and to just BS.  Most importantly, I want to thank Perivayne, who has beta-read for me for nearly five years and has been there for me as a friend and confidant through some of the darker moments of my life.  I also want to thank my nephew... I think... for leading me down this rabbit hole in the first place.

Work in progress - which includes the end of Last Horcrux as well as a large pile of drafts, scenes and notes for Years of Rebellion - will be posted as time and assistance allows.  It will most likely not have been beta-read.  My work will remain archived at FFA.net for as long as Tim is kind enough to feature it.

Warm regards,
Mike [FP)
