You know, I could have swored that I had reviewed this before, but as I didn't, I've got to say that it's absolutely hilarious here at times, and was great to see what a day in the life of a retired and older McGonagall could be like, funny, and at times a little bittersweet, though she reminds me a lot of some of the oder ladies at church who like you to come by the house on Sundays and chat and have something to drink, just a lot to remind me of here.

Yeah, so I spent the last minute or so laughing like a Slytherin at an injured Gryffindor.
I think the allocation of points was the highlight throughout the story.

Oh, this made me laugh. Having several "mature" friends myself, this timetable sounds about right; esp for someone as anal an Minnie! Ha! Given the long lives of wizards and witches I wonder how old she has to be before becoming "eccentric"?
Thank you for giving me a wonderful start to a dreary day. Black robes indeed! I'm wearing Summer stripes today and even that cannot take away from the fact I am at work and drudged out already!

Thanks for the giggle.

This was hysterical on so many levels. The whole next Sunday's crossword puzzle was a stich, but then so was so much of this wonderful tale.
And the suitably austere dinner---HAAA!

3:15 PM: Uses a hammer to break walking stick in three places
3:16 PM: Places fire-call to Harry
3:20 PM: Harry arrives; repairs walking stick and a crack in the sitting room lintel; stays for tea and biscuits; accepts suggestion that Hermione needs to get out more
Loved that! Harry's a dear, though. :)
Also enjoyed 'Incinerates Daily Prophet.'

That was lots of fun! MacGonagle has always been a favorite with me and this just reinforces the reasons why.
