Characters are consistent; plot appears consistent, but with enough unknown to maintain interest. I enjoy how the author presents conversation and the interaction between characters. It's good when
an author takes the time to develop things fully, especially when it doesn't make the story drag. I've been blitzing through this, which is maybe wrong: I probably should be reading it slowly to
allow the author's work to take root in my imagination.
